Did YOU know p2p downloading is legal in canada? (Google search results) this thread.
Canada is so smart. someone needs to kick the USofASS in the balls. What the shit.
In Other News: here I am NOT writing my analysis, doing my Japanese, or reading for philosophy. I’m also NOT SLEEPING so I can get up early to finish any of it in the morning either. wah. baaaad emily. Maybe I should skip philosphy tomorrow. hmmmm… *rubs hands together* why not. All I have to do is pass that class anyway. who cares if I miss 5 points for not showing up with my homework.

The RIAA does everything it can to hype their artists’ and get a generation of people addicted to their music when said listeners can’t afford to buy every $15 album that gets put out. P2P downloading is their own damn fault. I think allowing single song downloads for a small fee is a good start in the right direction, but they have a long way to go before the average end user feels like the music is accessible enough for a reasonable price to obtain all of it legally.

I’m still of the opinion that it is legal here, but the RIAA is affecting the legal interpretation and dragging us into the depths of hell.

hey, this isn’t the best spot, but you’re listed as the mod on oregonstate. We need some help with it. Two posts in the same evening about free ipods. Please remove them, and it’d be good to add a couple more moderators to the group.
thanks
