That is the unique thing about writers, they all have different styles and formats, and think in many different ways. Maybe having 2 different ways or solutions for an answer could be the answer. You are smart enough and talented enough in your writing to look at other peoples ways of thinking. Remember " out of the box"? Also some people are just trying to get through the class with the most limited time spent. I also remember my lit teachers telling me that if I cant apply myself, then why bother. Don't get frustrated, because even if these people don't understand your reasoning, they will get from you, another prospective on it.Or help them with the next assignment.
