The music videos for Zwan’s “Honestly” and “Lyric” are the most disgusting pointless sequence of shiny happy images I’ve ever seen.
It’s cheesy alterna-pop, and the videos are crappy metaphysical 80s-style nonsense. It’s worse than the stuff I usually condemn… at least that crap gets on MTV.
I really wish that someone could convince me that Zwan was worth listening to, because I’m very unhappy with the idea of never finding another “favorite band” to follow around for the rest of my life.

If you would Agree that Mellon Collie was the greatest album ever created - I would suggest Silverchair’s “Diorama” - or “The dissociatives” record (wich is Daniel Johns of Silverchair and some ausie techno guy)
the Incubus song ‘Aqueous Transmission’ has pretty vivid imagery comparable to pumpkins.. And their ‘a crow left of the murder’ is pretty gorgeous all around..
Im really getting into Oingo Boingo at the moment.. (though they are no more.. but hey - if you can stand it, its 5 or 6 records youve never heard before) .. actually come to think of it, it kinda reminds me of some J-rock.. Dir en grey or something..
erm.. ‘Shiva’ is pretty cool. :D
err.. I dunno - I cant think of much that has that cool whimsicle quality pumpkins had..
Modest Mouse seems to be kinda like that.. (sorta not really) ..but I cant listen to them due to an associated person.. erm..
