The second most awesome band on the planet is Our Lady Peace.
I keep coming back to this, but I’ve for some reason never allowed myself to get as… ?intimate? with them as I did with the Pumpkins. I swear it’s like falling in love… I like-like them, but I’m afraid of getting hurt like I did with SP. So, I’ll listen, then distance myself, and then come back.
Well… I should grow a backbone. In more ways than one. Either that or just recognize that they are just a band and it’s ok to love them.

LOL You crack me up. BTW - I’m glad that you finally figured out that your calender notes were from me. I had a good laugh or two when I realized that you really had no idea who it was.

No, can’t work. All 3 of my finals are on Tuesday, and then I’ve got to leave Corvallis Wednesday to make a Thursday morning flight out of state.

And OLP is pretty good, I’ve only seen em live once though. I’ve got all or all minus one cd’s if you want to ‘borrow’ my ‘backup’ copies of them.

ha ha ha. I have my own “backup” copies of all of their cds too. and one original cd that I “haven’t backed up yet” or whatever.

SP is an old lover. old old lover. lots of yellowing photos, and good memories, but we haven’t really spoken in years, so to speak.
