James Iha singing in Japanese!!!!!

Oh my god!!!

Arigatou to Dean-sama and MaruChan for bringing the existence of this other side of the Iha God to my attention.

Long live the Pumpkins’ Legacy!

Anyways… on another subject… Yeah I believe I was a little harsh and violent and… well, angry in my last entry which included a rant about a certain frustrating manager… I’ve since changed that entry to “friends only” to prevent the public from reading it… and thus preventing the “bite in the ass a year or so from now” which my father has predicted… So yeah… I apologize for any damage the sight of my anger may have caused anyone. Now you don’t have to see it. :) As an epilogue to that episode, we did discover why no one knew the schedule had been changed… turns out Mitch did tell someone. But he only told one person… I think it is important to inform everyone on the schedule of changes… so that we can contact each other if there is some kind of emergency and we need to trade shifts or something… then we’d know who is working when.

Anyway… I’m not so evil of a person…. I promise.

I’m happy though. Dean comes here to visit pretty soon… like… in a few days. :) *does a little dance* And I got mp3s from the Chara/James Iha album. (in which James DOES actually sing in Japanese… ^_^;)

No other news I don’t think… if I have some more news, Livejournal will no doubt crash on cue and you’ll never see it anyway.

Super Human dating.

I had one of those days where all the pieces just sort of fall into their most comfortable places and run along beside you…. the day was happy and intelligent and it was dressed in shiny things… sparkled. Today was a day that I might never meet again.

No real explanation for the happiness… I listened and understood my dad when he explained about my car… and almost all of my questions about DSL and Cable service were answered… and I understood… To finally understand something that you have been struggling for so long to understand is really one of the greatest feelings in the world. And I don’t mean like, understanding a new concept in algebra… I mean understanding normal things… Like an internal combustion engine… setting up a network within the home, and simply having healthy family relationships…

I did so much today… simple mortal things that aren’t’ going to impress anyone but me… but that is all that matters. I patched my radiator yesterday (I had a small leak) and bought new antifreeze and refilled my radiator with the mix… My dad took the time to explain once again how my car actually works… (we’re talking Automechanics 1A at Waiakea or something…) only this time I actually understood. I even managed to ask my dad a question he didn’t know… heh heh. but I’ll refrain from publishing it here lest some of my readers (either one of you) might know the answer and make me feel like a dummie in my moment of glee. [starla’s note: thanks to Chris, I now know the answer to this question. Yeah… Chris rawks.]

And on the subject of computers… I’ve finally talked my parents into abandoning AOL for a real internet service provider… something like Cable. :) I’ll be sure it happens before my birthday. I’m finally winning the domestic cold war against the Evils of America Online.

“You will never prevail against the side of righteousness” Or something like that… Sounds like something Samurai Jack would say… “I shall hang you like wet laundry!”

I think Penny is going to ask Samurai Jack out to dinner… Do you think he likes Lebanese? I think I’ll have to wait a few generations though… because he isn’t scheduled to appear in this dimension for another few hundred years… But I can see the influence of Aku already… That is ok. Penny will wait for him. He is Penny’s soulmate. Maybe Penny’s AI mecha can come up with a way to send her forward in time to meet him… *deep sigh*
